In response to the recent mass resignation of volunteer staff from Freenode, an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network for Free Software communities, the FSFE is migrating its IRC presence to Libera Chat, a new IRC network with a similar focus founded by former Freenode staff.
The community page still reference to freenode.

It is possible to add a link to join from Matrix? I am trying it without success and is not clear to me if it is something that I am doing wrong or not.
Seems that the IRC channel require registered users so matrix with #fsfe:libera.chat doesn’t work.
