In support of the revision of the EU ecodesign directive and criteria as well as to help understanding the impact of software obsolescence, the FSFE published a study on the sustainability of software. The findings of the study cumulate in five core demands for a more sustainable digitization, covering the interplay of devices, software and infrastructure.
