SFP#7 Artificial intelligence as Free Software with Vincent Lequertier

For the seventh episode of our Software Freedom Podcast we talk with Vincent Lequertier about transparency, fairness, and accessibility as crucial criteria for artificial intelligence (AI) and why it is important for our society to release AI software under a Free Software license.

It was an interesting listen.
@vincent you mentioned transparent, accessible, fair. I got transparent and fair. Did you address the accessibility by mentioning the required compute power and free GPU drivers?

I think the topic of AI, and algorithms in general will become big in the coming years.

Yes, we discuss about the computational power required to train AI
software at around the 16:00 mark I mention the issue around Free
drivers at the 21:00 mark. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions about
this and I will do my best to respond.

I agree.

Thanks for clarifying, than I understood you well.
