The German Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the public IT service provider Dataport are working on administrative workspaces to enable digital sovereignty. But are both products Free Software? How are they related? We asked the BMI and publish the answers here.

Some german answers I got from Dataport when I asked below a video in Juni 2022 (I don’t have the questions anymore cause the page with the comments and the video is not available anymore but I found the answers in notifications). I think I also kind of asked if it should be truly open source or source-available only, and if they are open to code contributions from citizens/community. Some questions are be guessable from the answers…:
